HOW WE CHARGE:
We don't like web bots any more than you do and our secure ordering page DOES
NOT CHARGE YOUR CARD. We do everything the old fashioned way, by
hand. The web form sends only information to us and we apply any unadvertised
specials, club discounts and the like when we process and ship your order.
No charges are made to your account UNTIL THE ITEM SHIPS! Since the CC
companies have gone fee crazy, you must enter the exact address that appears on
your credit card statement in the billing address form when you place your
order, or a $1.00 fee will be added to your total since that's what they charge
us if the address does not match.
PRIVACY POLICY :
We share NO information about you ANYWHERE with ANYONE
at ANYTIME EVER! No credit card
information
is transmitted over the web to anyone and is stored only on our secure SSL server administration page.
It is seen by only ONE PERSON one time at processing then DELETED immediately and PERMANENTLY
usually within hours of when you typed it in. No
charges are made with a Web Bot, we do it the OLD WAY... by hand! We share no
address, phone # or e-mail information with anyone! 'nuff said.
PRICING STRUCTURE: (we are sorry, but our expenses have
increased considerably)
1For PHONE orders: To cover expenses for call in orders, the price you
pay will be full retail price as shown in the white PHONE column above.
No discounts, club or net, will apply.
For internet orders: Items added to the shopping cart will show the price of
internet only discount as stated in the green column in table above. If
ordering on the net and you have no club affiliation (see below) this is the
price you will be charged or the item.
For members of VOAi, VRCC or GWRRA: internet orders will pay the blue column price
(phone orders will still pay full price1).
Ohio residents will see a 6.5% sales tax added (sorry, it's the law and we don't like it anymore than you so VOTE!).
CLUB DISCOUNTS:
If you are a
VRCC, VOAi or GWRRA member, your price
for any item covered (not all are) will be as shown in table above. If you
order by PHONE your price is in the green column - if you order on INTERNET your
price is in the blue
column, but please note that this extra discount will be
applied at the time of processing and will not show on the WEB order form.
Club discounts are not retroactive! The credit card companies have gone
fee crazy and we cannot process a retroactive discount after the purchase
without paying fees (see below for more). Please put your club affiliation and club number on the order form in the Company:

Put BOTH affiliation and number at the time of your order. We check with the clubs to see if you are a member and will not apply the discount if the information is not accurate. No refund of discounts will be given after an order is charged and shipped. We'd like to, but the credit card companies have gone fee crazy and we will not take the "double fee hit" of retroactive discounts. We know entry of the number is a little non-intuitive, but the shopping cart script leaves us no other option for adding the club number. If you are a repeat customer, then you will get the club discount automatically no need for a number!

to club members who support us! We support clubs who support us with a link on their web

SHIPPING CHARGES:
Shipping to US addresses which qualify for USPS Priority Mail is based on weight plus $2.00 handling (this for immediate shipping
within 48 hours, often only a coupla hours, and
keeps us on our toes). Back ordered items as shown above will ship when
available. Because of increased shipping charges, all items ship when back
ordered items become available. Usually, any delays on back orders are
approximately two weeks.
0.1 to 1.0 pound - 9.60
1.1 to 2.0 pounds - 11.60
2.1 to + pounds - 13.60 (maximum shipping)
Items sent to outside US addresses are charged actual shipping rates rounded
up to the nearest pound. Airmail letter post for items under four pounds
and Air Mail parcel post for those four pounds + . This gets it to you
in 4-14 days for the least amount of shipping fees. You can check
approximately what your shipping will be by estimating the weight of the package
including dunnage and visiting the USPS
web site for international rates.
RETURNS:
There is a 15% restocking fee
for returned items. Pack
carefully, any damage to returned items will be charged along with the 15%
restocking fee. Ship stuff back with all parts and packaging along with a
copy of your invoice and a LARGE note (make sure we know who you are and why the
return). Due to the
inordinate number of folks who return stuff which they destroyed and claim it's
our fault, any defective parts must be returned for inspection BEFORE any
replacement will be made. Shipping is non-refundable, ask the postmaster. The fees
& postage don't go to us, they go to the fees
crazy credit card companies and they just love those fees.
When a purchase is made, they charge a percentage of the price to keep for their own. They recently changed their rules on refunds. They once processed the credit and gave us the fee back, but now they charge a POSITIVE fee against us which means that when someone buys something and returns it, WE get charged the fee TWICE, once at the purchase and again at the refund plus two transaction fees. We never used to charge a restocking fee until they started taking our money TWICE on a return. That's also the reason that club discounts are not retroactive.
